In recent weeks, I have met with a number of constituent groups, including the Cincinnati chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  I also met with advocates from the ALS community, a disease also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease (pictured below). Both of these groups touched on the ongoing importance of medical research and how we as a society can support new and emerging therapies.

In addition, this week I delivered a speech about the importance of career and technical education. In my remarks, I highlighted the work of the Warren County Career Center and important role it plays in our economy.
