Chabot on FOX BUSINESS: tax extenders bill gives small businesses more certainty
Washington -Small Business Committee Chairman Steve Chabot (R-OH) broke down what today's tax legislation means for small businesses.
In a word: certainty.
In an interview with Fox Business about the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, Chairman Chabot pointed out that small businesses need certainty to succeed and that today's legislation helps give it to them:
"A lot of the tax benefits or reductions we've seen were not permanent, so people couldn't plan on them...[The PATH Act] is an improvement. People are going to be able to rely on the tax relief that they got in the past."
