The opioid problem is too serious, too significant, and too widespread for us NOT to work together to find a solution to this epidemic.
Chabot Statement on Cincinnati Olympians
Congressman Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) on Friday released the following statement regarding the Olympians competing in Rio de Janeiro with Cincinnati roots:
“Cincinnati consistently produces the greatest athletes, and we will see three of our own competing on the world stage at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Max Holt will be competing on the men’s volleyball team, Rachael Adams will be competing on the woman’s volleyball team, and Amber Campbell will be competing on the track and field team. Additionally, University of Cincinnati women's head basketball coach Jamelle Elliott will be serving as a member of the coaching staff for the women's basketball team. Qualifying to become an Olympian is no easy task, and I applaud their perseverance, strength, and most of all their sense of patriotism. Go for gold, Team USA!”
