Chabot’s Statement on Russia

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) on Monday released the following statement:

“If Vladimir Putin wants to know why the relationship between the United States and Russia is at a low point, then he should look in a mirror.  Putin is a bully and a thug, and certainly no friend of the United States.  He has violated international law by invading Crimea, continues to support brutal dictators like Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and he has attempted to use cyberattacks to undermine democratic institutions, not just here, but across the globe.”
