Washington, D.C. - Congressmen Steve Chabot (R-Westwood) and Brad Wenstrup (R-Columbia Tusculum) hosted a reception on Friday afternoon for everyone from Cincinnati who made the trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the March for Life. Additionally, Chabot made the following statement applauding those who participated in the March:
“Forty-seven years ago this week, the Supreme Court handed down the deeply flawed Roe v. Wade decision, which has allowed the abortion industry to claim tens of millions of innocent lives. This solemn anniversary serves as a reminder that we must never give up our fight to protect the most vulnerable among us – the unborn.
“And that’s why it’s so encouraging to witness thousands of people, who believe in the sanctity of innocent human life, make the trip to Washington every year to participate in the March for Life. Thank you to everyone who participated in the March today, especially those from Cincinnati. Your energy and enthusiasm for the protection of life is extraordinary. God bless you and your families, and God bless America!”
